Storage and handling systems: moving at the right rhythm

The shuttle warehouse encapsulates a concept as simple as it is efficient: the completely autonomous system moves the racks, bearing up to 15 tonnes, to the various areas of the warehouse.

This system for moving the slabs is also the only system capable of feeding several cutting lines at the same time without ever interrupting production, especially during material loading cycles. Compared to traditional movement systems, this solution paves the way for a series of advantages and optimisations that one cannot do without in the age of digital manufacturing.

Comfort and safety

Contact between the operator and glass is minimised, allowing for an exponential increase in safety when moving large slabs.

Automation

The system is managed by dedicated software that can map out the warehouse and provide real-time inventory information as well as automatically receive instructions about the materials to be supplied to the cutting lines.
