Marmomac 2017: technology and design in the era of digital manufacturing

Intermac participates in one of the most important lithic tradeshows worldwide, introducing, in partnership with Donatoni Machine, cutting edge solutions in digital manufacturing.

For the third consecutive year Intermac and Donatoni Macchine present their technologies at Marmomac, September 27-30, solutions dedicated to stone processing and know-how that pairs itself with design and architectural projects in order to demonstrate how the technologies of the two companies can transform even the most ambitious ideas into solid form.

Intermac and Diamut are partecipating in Italian Stone Theatre, the prestigious stage of the sector's finest products to show how explore the new limits of digital manufacturing through the connection between stone, technology, and design. The project, wich is organised by architect Raffaello Galiotto and Antonio Pavan features four exhibits by world famous designers. Intermac participates in “Macchine virtuose”, the exhibit that positions itself as the evolution of the journey of technological experimentation on stone, elevating the objective from the mere demonstration of the potential of new devices to their actual application on real products. Diamut makes its début participating in Italian Stone Theatre for the first time, making its technological experience available in "Territorio e design", the exhibit which seeks to exalt the individual characteristics of the materials from the various regions and production areas of our peninsula.
