Intermac, Donatoni Macchine, and Montresor at Marmomac 2018: ALL IN ONE power that anyone can afford

Intermac, Donatoni Macchine, and Montresor will participate in the 53rd edition of Marmomac, the largest international trade show dedicated to marble, granite, technology, design, and training that is scheduled to take place in Verona from 26 to 29 September 2018.

Intermac, Donatoni Macchine, and Montresor, together for the first time in one location, will physically represent the "ALL IN ONE" concept which characterises the three brands' communication to express how the union of technological capability and a wide-spread distribution network are capable of providing solutions for the creation of a digitalised factory and 360° customer care service, through a single contact point.

The stand will feature work centres, water-jet machines, bridge saws, cutting centres, edge-polishers, finishing systems, and collaborative robotics systems  in order to provide operators from the stone and stone engineering sectors a synergy of tailored solutions that can be integrated with one another and that are able to help our clients' businesses evolve to a new dimension.

Technology that anyone can afford

The "ALL IN ONE" strategy is supported by the concepts of intelligent automation and flexible integration of processes applied by the three companies through the use of the latest generation of technology. For the occasion, Intermac has developed a new work centre that will make it possible, through investments that any company can afford, to revolutionize industrial production, ensuring that companies remain competitive and guaranteeing a reduced time-to-market production schedule. The Master Loader will also make its début, a flexible robotic cell, designed and created to optimise all loading and unloading times for work centres and water-jet machines.

Montresor, having acquired strength through the visibility generated by sharing space with two large companies like Intermac and Donatoni Macchine, completes the range of products with its own high quality products and solutions which clients will be able to try out and see in action in Verona.

Greater value from machines

Thanks to SOPHIA, the new IOT platform of Intermac services, the process of factory digitalisation is further made a reality. The new platform, available as of this coming September, provides, in real time and through intuitive dashboards, information and data from machines distributed around the world. This data makes it possible to monitor production, analyse how the machines are functioning, identify malfunctions, assist clients in maintenance operations, order replacement parts in less time, and conduct preventative maintenance.

Diamut, Tooling division

Diamut is ready to demonstrate to all who attend Marmomac 2018, the reality of the technology that it produces daily to anticipate the needs of a constantly evolving market. The main solutions dedicated to edge-polishing and the machining operation of paving units and funerary art will be presented. Diamut will also be present at the Intermac stand with an internal Demo Area, which will showcase the workmanship of the tools that are guided by the careful eye of the Biesse's stone division machines.

Italian Stone Theatre

Water will animate The Italian Stone Theatre, the pavilion dedicated to Italy's high quality lithic sector, which will return to Verona on occasion of Marmomac 2018. The theme for the 2018 edition is Wellness & Hospitality, which includes the use of stone materials in the creation of furniture, products, décor, and architectural elements for hospitality and wellness structures. Intermac, for the third year in a row, will participate in the “Ristorante d’autore” exhibit, and paired with illustrious names in Italian design will be able to interpret, through its technological superiority, the projects that have been specifically studied, transforming them into artefacts and prototypes capable of expressing the excellence of Made in Italy.
